The mission of the Brigham Center is to empower children and youth, with a special emphasis on girls, to become responsible, confident and personally fulfilled individuals. This is accomplished through membership, governmental assistance on both the federal and local levels, and through the generosity of many individuals and businesses. Each year, membership covers only a percentage of the costs needed to run the Center. Therefore, the Brigham Center relies on grants, donations and bequests to make up the balance.

Thank you for your support. We couldn't do it without you!
The Brigham Center has developed a broad range of giving opportunities to fit individual abilities and needs.
Annual Support
At the Brigham Center the list of needs is endless … a bathing suit for a needy child, daycare subsidies, support of programs that help girls and boys become responsible, confident and personally fulfilled adults. Your contribution to our Annual Support Campaign is priceless in the eyes of a child who is helped through your generosity. The children are OUR future and their future is in our hands!
Campership Campaign
Each summer Berkshire area children attend Camp Stevenson-Witawentin … some of the children who are served by the Brigham Center throughout the year are in need of a safe, fun, educational place to be during the summer months but their families have difficulty with the expense … Our annual Campership Appeal helps needy children to spend their summer days in a constructive, growth oriented environment. Your contribution of $125 helps a needy child attend camp for a week … a great opportunity to support our youth!
Planned Gifts
Arranging a Planned Gift for the benefit of the Brigham Center supports the future of the Center and can provide financial benefits to you and/or your family. Setting up a Planned Gift is easy and we can help tailor a plan to meet your specific financial and philanthropic needs.
It's easy to leave a bequest to the Brigham Center. Bequests can be made in many forms - from cash or residuary bequests (what is left in an estate after debts are paid) to gifts of specific assets such as real estate, securities, or tangible personal property. Every gift makes a difference. Please contact us if you would like more information or if you have remembered the Brigham Center in your will or if you would like additional information about other methods of making a planned gift.
Volunteer
Volunteer opportunities abound at the Brigham Center. Needs include men willing to work with teen boys as mentors; and community members who are willing to lend a hand in the planning and implementation of special events throughout the year including our major fundraiser the Bizarre Bazzaar held in October, among others.
Girls League … Girls Club … Girls Incorporated...Brigham Center Alumnae
The Brigham Center has long been a place for girls to learn new skills, have new experiences and make new friends … we’re looking for our old friends!! Give us the opportunity to show you where we are now and where we will go in the future … share your stories of happy days spent at the Club! Maybe even find an old friend or two yourself!
For more information on any of the above, email us or call the center at 413-442-5174.
